Highview-Backed National Fire & Safety Announces Acquisition of Elite Fire Protection Systems

National Fire & Safety, a leading end-to-end fire protection and life safety solutions platform and a portfolio company of Highview Capital (“Highview”), today announced the acquisition of Elite FPS, LLC (“Elite”), a full-service fire sprinkler contractor based in the Dallas metro area. National Fire & Safety was recently formed by Highview as a platform to house leading fire and safety brands in the Western U.S.

Elite provides comprehensive fire protection services, including the design, engineering, installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Founded in 1990 by Ken and Lynn Tabor, Elite serves numerous end markets, including healthcare, education and commercial, primarily in the largest Texas metro areas. Ken Tabor will continue to lead Elite as President.

Elite joins Frontier Fire Protection, LLC (“Frontier Fire”), which Highview acquired in April 2019, as a subsidiary of National Fire & Safety. Both Elite and Frontier Fire will continue to operate independently under their current brands and in their respective regions. National Fire & Safety will be led by Greg Londo, recent CEO of Frontier Fire.

Greg Londo, CEO of National Fire & Safety, said, “The rapid influx of people and corporations into Texas has made the state’s metro areas a key market for the fire and life safety industry. Elite is an exciting addition to the National Fire & Safety family and will meaningfully expand our geographic footprint into the Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio metro areas. True to their name, the Elite team consists of top-notch designers and service providers, and Ken is an outstanding leader with deep industry experience. We are thrilled to partner with Ken and the entire Elite team.”

Ken Tabor, President of Elite, said, “This is an important milestone for Elite that will allow us to grow our market presence, further enhance our design and installation expertise, and expand our relationships with our core customers. I am pleased to have the support and collaboration of Greg and the Highview team and be a part of the National Fire & Safety family moving forward into this exciting new chapter for Elite.”

Ryan McCarthy, Co-Founder of Highview and National Fire & Safety Board member, added, “Greg and Ken are two of the most experienced and well-respected leaders in fire safety, and Highview looks forward to providing the strategic support and resources to help both Elite and Frontier Fire flourish as part of National Fire & Safety. Collectively, the two National Fire & Safety brands serve over 1,200 customers in seven states, and we look forward to exploring additional acquisition opportunities to further expand the platform’s footprint.”
