Ohio's East Liverpool City Hospital is participating in a nationwide safety event hosted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), according to an article on the WKBN website.
The hospital arranged a week-long safety scavenger hunt for its employees to raise awareness and understanding of the value of workplace safety and health programs.
The employees learned about potential safety hazards and how to resolve them by finding signs that are posted throughout areas of the hospital. The employees earned tickets for "fixing" the hazards.
They can redeem the tickets for prizes such as a Samsung SmartThings Home Security System, a AAA Traveler Road Kit or a FirstAlert Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
