Hospital security differs from school security in a number of ways

There are parts of hospital security officers' jobs that don't transfer to traditional or school police


According to an article on the Campus Safety website, there are some parts of hospital security officers' job description that don't apply to traditional or school police.

The safety of everyone on their campus is a priority and both must prepare for emergencies and conduct threat assessments.

But Campus Safety put together a list of ways officers working in hospitals differ from other security officers.

The list includes things like training, equipment and privacy concerns.
