IUVA Announces Revised Dates for the 2019 IUVA World Congress

The International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) has revised the dates for the 2019 IUVA World Congress, which will now take place February 10-13, 2019 at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. This is the first IUVA World Congress being held in the Asia-Pacific Region and will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of IUVA.

“Australia has been a world leader in both the research and implementation of innovative water treatment for several decades and UV technology has a well-established installed base throughout the country," said Oliver Lawal, CEO of Aquisense and President of IUVA. "Sydney is one of the key hubs for UV technology with landmark installations and thus is a great location to hold our first World Congress in the Asia-Pacific Region. I look forward to discussing the latest industry topics with everyone down-under!“

The focus of 2019 IUVA World Congress is to present the recent advancements in technology and research addressing the environmental and treatment process challenges of today, as well as to discuss the current trends in UV regulations and technology in industries such as latest tech developments including uv led, municipal water, reuse water, wastewater, ballast water, industrial water supply and discharge, reduction in TOC and chlorine, aquatics, air and surface treatment, healthcare, food processing, life sciences, agriculture, pharma, beverage, fish farms and hatcheries, AOP, de-ozonization, membrane pre-treatment, sterilization, and photopolymeriation.

IUVA will announce a Call for Abstracts in early 2018 and additional details on exhibition, sponsorship, and attendance will be available at http://www.iuva.org/2019-World-Congress.
