Indiana hospital adds grocery store to facility to encourage healthy eating

The Fresh For You Market offers fresh produce and milk, eggs and cheese

The Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., has entered the grocery business, according to an article on the Foodservice Equipment and Supplies website.

The 450-square-foot Fresh For You Market is attached to the Ingram Micro Mobility Marketplace, the main casual-dining operation on the campus.

"We've partnered with vendors and figured out the logistics of running a grocery store. This fits in with a big passion of ours to work to combat the food insecurity and food desert issues in Indianapolis," Seth Grant, associate director of culinary services and business operations, said in the article.

The market offers groceries including produce and milk, eggs and cheese.
