Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital follow-up inspection finds infection control issues

Federal inspectors find unresolved problems


A February follow-up inspection of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Fla., found the hospital was still out of compliance with federal rules, according to an article on the Tampa Bay Times website.

Problems were found with governance, quality assurance and infection control.

The hospital received a new deadline of mid-April to resolve the issues.

State and federal investigators initially showed reviewed the hospital in January and documented a series of deficiencies, including some severe enough to constitute “an immediate or serious threat to patient health and safety.”
