Health villages can have similarities to senior living and early healthcare campuses, but are multifaceted and bigger.

The villages tend to focus on preventive medicine, and can encompass buildings that are owned or operated by separate organizations offering health-related products and services, the article said.

The biggest consideration when planning a health village is the development’s approach to preventive health and wellness.
