Kingspan Set to Increase Capacity with New Virginia Line

Leading insulation manufacturer, Kingspan Insulation, is on course to add new capacity to its manufacturing site in Winchester, Virginia.

The installation of the new, state-of-the-art XPS insulation manufacturing line is proceeding on time and on cost. Once completed, it will allow Kingspan Insulation to continue to service demand for its popular GreenGuard line of XPS board products. The products boast superior moisture resistance, an R-value of 5.0 per inch of thickness and are suitable for a range of applications including cavity walls, continuous insulation, roofs, below-grade perimeter foundation and under floor slabs.

As part of this ambitious investment program, Kingspan Insulation has today announced its intent to begin production of high performance, polyiso insulation in North America, providing an even greater choice for specifiers and contractors.

Kingspan Insulation is currently appraising locations for 3 new state-of-the-art manufacturing lines. Locations under consideration are at its existing plant in Virginia, at its sister company sites in California, Florida, Ohio, Ontario and British Columbia, as well as sites in Nevada and Texas.
