LEVEL 4 Designs introduces L4 Life

As a result of the increased popularity of residential designs in the contract and hospitality markets, North Carolina based, LEVEL 4 DESIGNS, is launching a new program called L4 Life. L4 Life will offer furniture that combines residential influences with a quality and durability level that is required for high traffic, commercial applications. This program will include seating, tables and case goods, with the ability to customize for specific project needs.

“The work environment continues to become an extension of our overall lifestyle,” said Bob Price, president of LEVEL 4 DESIGNS. “Our goal is to provide furniture with elements that enable you to create comfortable work environments with an energy that inspires and allows you to create the opportunity for employees to connect and collaborate.

“In my travels, I continue to hear the same concerns from design firms and dealers, ‘We have limited sources for these types of designs and have concerns about the durability of some of the products. We have limited options for fabrics and finishes and the ability to customize furniture options is practically impossible.’ Our goal is that the L4 Life program provides answers to these challenges.”

Phase one of the program, launching on February 14 will include more than 200 sku’s made up of new U.S. and Italian based designs, current products in the LEVEL 4 DESIGNS line, custom products from projects produced over the last three years and a collaboration with a Virginia-based residential furniture manufacturer. Products include chairs, barstools, lounge seating, modular and sectional seating, occasional tables, community and work tables, as well as unique office furniture and console cabinet designs.

Keeping with the company’s blended manufacturing model, approximately 85 percent of the L4 Life program is manufactured and/or inventoried in the U.S., with a 6 to 8 week lead time. The balance of the standard line is manufactured and shipped directly from Italy, delivered in 10 to 12 weeks. Like most of the products that LEVEL 4 DESIGNS develops, many of the L4 Life designs can be customized for specific project needs and are available in both standard and custom finishes.

“Nearly 50 percent of our business involves some sort of customization and is one of the strengths of the company,” said Price. “Level 4 Designs was built to adapt to the needs and challenges of our clients. It’s in our DNA.”
