Legionnaires’ disease found at Ohio nursing home

Lake County General Health District confirms disease at Mentor facility


The Lake County General Health District (LCGHD) has confirmed a case of Legionnaires’ disease at Continuing Healthcare Solutions in Mentor, Ohio, according to an article on the 19 News website.

The district said it received test results confirming a single case of the disease.

LCGHD is working with officials from the Ohio Department Health, and the nursing home to investigate the illness.

The nursing home has taken precautionary steps to protect the staff and residents of the nursing home, according to an LCGHD statement.
