Several healthcare facilities in the New Orleans area closed after losing water service amid freezing temperatures last week, according to an article on The Times-Picayune website.
Two Ochsner Medical Center campuses lost water service due to the weather conditions. Both facilities used alternative water sources.
The water pressure conditions also required some Tulane Lakeside Hospital for Women and Chidlren's outpatient clinics to close.
Both Tulane facilities followed protocols for the boil water advisory.
