Lunera Lighting's Susan Lamp E26 LED kit converts high intensity discharge fixtures to ultra low power LED lighting

Lunera Lighting, Inc., a leader in lighting innovations accelerating the transformation to advanced LED technology, is pleased to introduce the Susan Lamp E26 LED Kit. Commercial facilities can now convert existing metal halide or high-pressure sodium fixtures into energy efficient, High Intensity Discharge (HID) LED lamp solutions. The kit contains a plug and play Susan Lamp and a high performance LED driver, to reduce power consumption to just 53-watts and address the differing requirements of various HID lighting fixture applications.

"Lunera continues its leadership in the

commercial LED lighting market by expanding

our product portfolio to provide additional HID

infrastructure conversion solutions. Our goal is

to deliver energy efficient, high performance

LED lighting that offers greater design flexibility

and convenience for our customers,"

said Lunera's Vice President of Sales and

Marketing, Tom Quinn.

A vertically oriented, 50-watt LED Susan Lamp with an E26 medium base is included in the kit. It has a 50,000 hour (L70) lifespan, resulting in a long lifetime of providing consistently high quality LED light. As an ideal LED replacement for low bay applications, it eliminates over two costly lamp replacement cycles and reduces maintenance expense. The instant on Susan Lamp is offered in 3500K, 4000K or 5000K color temperatures and offers an optional 15 percent uplight, making it a brilliant LED lamp replacement for glass or acrylic HID fixtures. It may also be configured with a Fresnel lens, commonly used in parking garage installations for maximum illumination. The Susan Lamp is supported by a 5-year warranty.

The kit solution is UL 1598C Classified. It includes an industry leading Mean Well brand LED Driver (Model LPF-60-48) that can be used in lieu of the existing HID ballast and requires a simple conversion to accommodate an energy efficient Susan Lamp. Once the HID ballast has been replaced, there are no other modifications necessary to the fixture.

Lunera's proprietary BallastLED™ technology enables the plug and play Susan Lamp to operate directly off of the existing HID ballast by simply replacing the lamp and/or the LED driver. The Susan Lamp also uses Lunera's innovative MultiWatt technology, which enables it to replace a wide range of HID lamps/ballasts from 70-watts to 175-watts.
