Magnetek to display New M1000 elevator drive at CECA Convention

Magnetek, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAG), a leading designer and manufacturer of elevator drives, will be exhibiting at the 41st Annual Canadian Elevator Contractors Association Convention being held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, June 2-5. Magnetek’s AC and DC elevator drives are the ideal match for a variety of projects including new installations and existing equipment modernizations. Though they offer new technology, consistent features across Magnetek’s drives make setup and modifications easy and user-friendly.

Visitors to Magnetek’s booth, #52, will have the opportunity to experience Magnetek’s newest elevator drive, the M1000. M1000 brings the industry’s most reliable hardware platform together with the most innovative and user-friendly interface to create a cutting-edge drive solution, making this elevator drive ideal for modernization projects. The M1000 offers elevator-specific application software, adjustable parameters, and serial interfacing consistent with Magnetek’s Quattro® and HPV® elevator drives. The M1000 has been tested to provide over 70,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.

“The M1000 elevator drive interfaces with any controller, similar to Magnetek’s HPV and Quattro product lines, minimizing engineering time required to integrate the M1000 into an existing controller,” said Ed Butte, director of Magnetek’s elevator business. “In addition, our optional Dual Operator allows for set up and adjustment of the M1000 parameters in the same intuitive fashion as our HPV series of elevator drives.”

Recognized as “the” drive supplier to the elevator industry, Magnetek’s products are easy to install and provide superior performance for DC or AC systems in new buildings, modernizations, or component upgrades.
