Matrix Medical Network expands product and marketing capabilities

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Matrix Medical Network, a national leader in prospective health assessment services for Medicare Advantage plan members, is integrating and expanding its product and marketing capabilities to drive new growth initiatives. Highly accomplished health care product and marketing executive Mark Reagen joined Matrix this week stepping into the strategic leadership role of Chief Marketing Officer to guide these efforts. In this capacity, he will oversee product management and development, product marketing and corporate communications as well as member marketing.

Matrix pioneered the use of an employed Nurse Practitioner network to bring health care to Medicare Advantage members where it's needed most--in the home. By delivering care in a comfortable and relaxed home setting, Matrix Nurse Practitioners are able to engage, listen and educate members more effectively. These skilled clinicians can help coordinate a broad range of care needs--ranging from the management of specific health conditions to addressing environmental factors that impact a person's overall well-being, by collaborating with Primary Care Providers, health plans and community resources.

"We are extending our leadership in home health assessments while expanding our reach to support broader care initiatives," explained Walt Cooper, Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer for Matrix. "Mr. Reagen's experience bringing innovative products rapidly  to market will allow us to continue to achieve results quickly."

Mr. Reagen's health care leadership has spanned corporate and member marketing efforts, strategy and positioning, as well as product development and management. Most recently, he served as the President and General Manager of Univita Health's division that conducts home health and functional assessments. Prior to Univita, he held executive marketing and product roles with several leading health care services  providers.

"I am privileged to be joining Matrix at such an exciting time for the company and for the health care industry," said Mr. Reagen. "The ability of Matrix Nurse Practitioners to support members directly in their homes is the ideal platform to make a real impact on improving care and outcomes."
