MaxLite launches DiscMAX LED Post Top Luminaire as specification-grade lighting for parking and outdoor areas

MaxLite introduces the DiscMAX LED Post Top Luminaire as energy efficient lighting with architectural appeal for parking areas and large outdoor spaces.

The DiscMAX provides superior photometric performance in a sleek, rounded form factor that seamlessly blends into contemporary and traditional settings. Listed by DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and eligible for utility rebate programs, the LED DiscMAX consumes 75 percent less energy than conventional metal halide fixtures and operates with a much longer lifetime of 50,000 hours (at L70 standards). The luminaire is constructed of durable, corrosion-proof aluminum, and features full-module heat sinking for maximum reliability and longevity.

Available in both Type III and Type V distributions, DiscMAX is a versatile, high output solution for lighting parking lots, roadways, corporate campuses and other large outdoor areas. Specifiable in 80 or 115 watts, the post top luminaire is capable of replacing HID fixtures of up to 400 watts with an output range of 6,000 to 10,000 lumens. The DiscMAX is issued with 10kA surge protection to guard the luminaire against extreme electrical disturbances.

“We are pleased to add the modern aesthetic and leading-edge efficiency of DiscMAX to our portfolio of parking and area lighting solutions,” said Associate Product Manager Amro El-Adle. “With its style, flexibility and short time to payback, the DiscMAX is the ideal choice for bringing design harmony and energy savings to a wide variety of commercial, educational and municipal spaces.”

The DiscMAX LED Post Top luminaire is backed by a five-year limited warranty and lifetime product support. For complete product specifications, view the product page: http://www.maxlite.com/products/discmax-led-post-top
