Legionella bacteria is lingering in the water system at Heartland Health Care Center—Fostrian in Flushing, Mich., according to an article on the MLive website.

Lab results on the resampling came back significantly improved, but with some Legionella still detected.

The water-use restrictions remain in place and another round of testing is planned.

“The facility is exploring options to have a secondary disinfectant system installed in (its) building,” the article said.
