Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital project boosts emergency care for region


The Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital building project in Ontonagon, Mich., included a 8,210-square-foot expansion and in-patient unit renovation, according to an article on the Your Daily Globe website.

The project expands emergency care for Ontonagon County and the region.

Four emergency rooms were added to enhance patient privacy, replacing a one-room emergency station, with a curtain cutting it in half.

The nurses station includes video monitors that show the reception area, emergency room area and parking lot.
