Five hospitals were recognized by patients for having the cleanest rooms


Five hospitals in Minnesota were recognized by patients for having cleanest rooms, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.

For these hospitals, 88 percent or more of patients reported on their HCAHPS surveys that their room and bathroom were "always" clean.

Minnesota's average rate for patients reporting their room and bathroom were "always" clean is 78 percent. The national average is 74 percent.

The top two hospitals were Bigfork Valley Hospital with 91 percent and Riverwood Healthcare Center (Aitkin) with 89 percent.
