St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Mont., is working with the Center for Disease Control after some of the water supply tested positive for Legionella bacteria, according to an article on the NBC Montana website.
The test was prompted after a patient tested positive for the bacteria. The hospital staff was concerned because the timeline indicated the patient could have contracted it from St. Patrick.
The hospital has installed filters on the showers in each patient room.
Hospital officials say they’re working closely with the experts from the CDC to see what else they recommend.
