Montreal hospital closes play structure after injuries

Montreal Children's Hospital sculpture was recently installed in lobby area


Montreal Children's Hospital has closed its play structure after two children who were injured, according to an article on the Montreal Gazette.

The play sculpture that had been installed after the facility moved to a new location in May.

The play structure, a colorful interactive play module, has been cordoned off and a sign says it’s closed temporarily.

The decision to temporarily close the structure was made in response to a concern raised by a member of the public. The structure was given to the hospital by SNC-Lavalin, the firm that built the hospital.
