This year's National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) event will include a seminar on IoT— is your facility ready?

The Internet of Things (IoT) has the ability to transform facility management. By utilizing technology to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational continuity, facility managers can better handle the increasing complexity of buildings. IoT helps merge legacy systems with future expansions, maintain aging infrastructure, and improve reporting and compliance capabilities. To deliver on these promises facilities need to be prepared to handle the estimated 26 billion ‘smart things’ which will be installed by 2020.
