N.Y. hospital institute new security policy for visitors

Security officers have been stationed at all entrances to help guide patients and visitors

Glens Falls Hospital in Glen Falls, N.Y., have instituted a new security policy for patients' visitors to help ensure safety, according to an article on the CBS6 website.

Starting August 15, security officers have been stationed at all entrances to help guide patients and visitors to their destinations.

When a visitor enters the building, they will need to show identification and say who they are there to visit. They will then be presented with a printed badge with a photo, name and destination.

The new security policy will roll out to each of the entrances on a week by week basis.
