Eastern Kentucky University's online master's program in safety, security and emergency management put together an infographic on hospital safety problems during times of natural disaster.

Heading to nearby hospitals may not be the safest option in a natural disaster, according to research.

Studies found that most hospitals have out of date generators in poor locations. That and other factors that could lead to complications within the facility.
