New York City Medical Facilities Summit announced for Sept. 24


An all-day Hospital & Medical Facilities Summit will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Heart Conference Center in New York City.  Addressed at the summit is the myriad of design, construction, operation, financial, and real estate issues impacting the healthcare facilities industry.  The content rich Summit includes sessions on Environment of Care standards, ACA, Infection Control Regulations, Metrics to Improve Operational Performance, Demographics of New York City Healthcare, and Adapting Healthcare’s New Retail Delivery Model to NY’s Unique Real Estate Market

Among the confirmed speakers are James Kendig, Field Director-Life Safety Code Surveyors for The Joint Commission, and Ray Pentecost, Immediate Past President of International Academy for Design & Health

The Summit is co-hosted by the IFMA HealthCare Institute and Corporate Realty, Design & Management Institute.  Summit Program Chair is John D’Angelo, VP Facilities Operations at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a member of IFMA HealthCare Institute’s Board of Directors.
