Nurses are urging a Staten Island, N.Y., hospital to move its maternity ward over mold and leaking gas fears, according to an article on the Daily Mail website.
The mold and anesthetic gas traces were detected in the maternity ward at Staten Island University Hospital North.
After the mold was found, staffers reported dizziness, swollen throat, headaches and losing their voices.
The mold was located and decontaminated in September, the hospital said. The nursery was moved to a backup location as a precaution
