The Ohio State University is launching a new program on healthcare environmental services leaders, according to an article on the Health Facilities Maintenance website.
The university’s College of Education and Human Ecology will offer an academic certificate within the hospitality management program.
The program is offered in cooperation with the Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE).
The program will be open to undergraduate students this fall and expand to include existing healthcare professionals. Milos Bujisic, assistant professor of hospitality management, is designing the courses to help current and potential professionals expand their management and leadership skills, the article said.
