Leapfrog ratings show significant improvement in some states
Nearly 1 in 3 hospitals earned an “A” grade for patient safety from a recent Leapfrog Group report, according to an article on the Fierce Healthcare website.
The grades suggest that some states have made significant improvements, Leapfrog said.
Of the more than 2,600 hospitals general, acute care hospitals assessed, 844 earned an “A,” while 658 received a “B.”
Hawaii had the most "A" grades with 2 out of 3, while North Dakota came in last with none of the six assessed hospitals making an “A.”
