Overhead Door Brand Introduces Four Wood Grain Finishes to its Fastest-Growing Aluminum Garage Door Series

Overhead Door brand, one of the leading brands of garage doors and openers for residential, commercial and industrial applications, has added four wood grain finishes to its popular Modern Aluminum Model 521 garage door, allowing home and business owners more design options while enjoying the benefits of an aluminum garage door. Available in four new colors, including Knotty Pine, Cherry, Cherry with Flame and Dark Walnut, these wood grain finishes provide more design flexibility to enhance the style of any architectural structure.

“Model 521 is one of our most striking, yet durable Overhead Door™ garage doors, and now it appeals to even more customers who are seeking the look of a real wood garage door without the maintenance,” said Heather Meiner, Overhead Door Brand Manager. “Coupled with wood grain finishes, the 521 series will not only maximize curb appeal, but it also functions as a durable door with windload options available that can withstand a variety of weather conditions.”

These wood grain finishes will be supplementing the nearly 200 RAL powder coat color options already available, allowing customers to choose the best match for the aesthetic and design of their home or business.

Designed to fit openings up to 26’2” wide and 20’1” high, Modern Aluminum Model 521 contains a wide heavy-duty frame that offers an array of frame finishes and custom door options. This includes four types of specialty glass, four types of glass alternatives, anodized finishes and hinges and fixtures that are galvanized to maintain a contemporary look. Polyurethane insulation is also optional in rails and stiles up to 18’2” wide, which helps increase thermal efficiency, reduce street noise and provides for quieter door operation.
