A female patient received burns over 30% of her body after a fire in the Beaumont Hospital Emergency Center in Troy, Mich., according to an article on The Detroit News website.
The Troy Fire Department received a call from a hospital security office reporting a fire in one of the rooms in the hospital's Emergency Center. The security office reported visible smoke and sprinkler activation.
Patients in the center had to be relocated by hospital staff.
Fire investigators are looking into the incident and have listed it as suspicious.
