QMotion develops industry exclusive trackless, wireless, motorized drapery rod

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Motorized drapery systems no longer need an unattractive track. Unsightly wires and motor boxes are a thing of the past. QMotion Advanced Shading Systems recently introduced the industry’s first–and only–trackless motorized drapery rod. The next generation of motorized window fashions now adds seamless elegance to any residential or commercial space.

In addition to its decorative exterior style, the new wireless drapery rod goes even further on the interior by reducing noise with its patent-pending, battery-operated motors that are tucked away inside. For those infrequent times when you may need to change the standard alkaline batteries, the housing inside the drapery rod provides easy battery replacement without having to remove the drapery panels—another industry first.

QMotion’s motorized drapery rod also is equipped with an exclusive manual override feature, called Touch Wand Activation. Users gently tap the wand to open or close the draperies through movement sensing technology.

The drapery rods come in six finishes, with optional finials that are available in six designer styles. Drapery hardware can be paired with decorative curtains to create a personalized drapery rod system that adds a distinctive and fashionable look to your office or home.

The trackless motorized drapery rod is the latest creation by QMotion, a U.S.-based company known for remarkable innovation and design. QMotion created the first automated shade featuring a patented manual override option winning the Window Covering Manufacturing Association award for Best New Technical Innovation in 2012 for a system that significantly extends battery life and reduces noise. QMotion was most recently recognized with numerous technical innovation awards from the Window Covering Manufacturing Association and a Gold Quest for Quality Award for excellence in customer service from CE Pro.
