Shriners Hospitals in Minneapolis and Lexington listed by Colliers International

Colliers International has announced that Shriners Hospitals’ campuses in Minneapolis, MN and Lexington, KY are on the market.

Florida-based Shriners Hospitals for Children has enlisted the brokerage services of Colliers International to help market the sites to potential buyers looking to optimize the assets, which feature:

  • Minneapolis: Following the national trend, Shriners Healthcare for Children-Twin Cities recently transitioned from a hospital model to an outpatient clinic format. This model change also creates a need for a different building design, and consequently there is no longer a need for the campus at 2025 East River Parkway, which has been listed for sale. The hospital is ideally situated on over 10 acres between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul one mile away from the University of MN main campus. The beautifully-constructed, 103,500-square-foot inpatient occupancy hospital also features a skyway connected, 14,000-square-foot, 10-room hotel, two-story parking deck and outdoor amenity space set against a wooded backyard.
  • Lexington: The former Shriners Hospital in Lexington is a unique repositioning / development opportunity located just 2.5 miles from downtown and the University of Kentucky. This 179,000-square-foot hospital building is set on 28 beautiful acres in a prestigious area and is only one mile from one of the area’s most prominent shopping centers. The property has been well maintained and updated making it ideal for any buyer able to reuse the existing facilities.
