Siklu enhances security market presence with new ground breaking products

Siklu Inc., the global market leader in millimeter wave technology, is proud to announce it is expanding its presence in the video surveillance market to empower video networks with interference-free transmission at competitive prices. Siklu’s market entry was timed with the release of its new small form factor radio, the EtherHaul-600TL; Designed to swiftly integrate with street-fixtures, and facilitate extendable cascading, the world’s smallest 1Gbps outdoor radio futureproofs video networks, supports ultra-high camera resolutions and network density, enabling flawless video.

Siklu’s mmWave solutions effectively resolve the acute pain points of video networks.

Today’s networks are dense, and developments in video analytics and megapixel camera technologies demand more capacity. This demand is rapidly outstripping the capacity required for today's advanced video networks. This surge in capacity demand further densifies networks, intensifies radio interference and degrades video quality. Utilizing the ultra-wide spectrum with inherent pencil beams, Siklu’s family of products offer up to 2Gbps radios to ensure the unfailing operation of bandwidth intensive applications to transmit video feeds from cameras to operational monitors with exceptional quality.

Siklu’s complete mmWave family of products effectively addresses diverse challenges for wireless connectivity, backhaul and aggregation and is adopted for a wide range of applications. The wireless radios will be exhibited at Siklu’s booth #4255 the ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., as well as in its partner booth: Axis (booth #1713), the global leader in network video solutions, and Winncom (booth #2177), a distributor of complete networking solutions.

Delivering fiber-like performance, and empowering urban and commercial networks with ample bandwidth and excellent QoS, the new EH-600TL is ideal for the surveillance market. Siklu’s new V-Band solution is being introduced to the market at a competitive price point, and completes Siklu’s offering for street-level broadband wireless access. Siklu’s 60GHz, 1Gbps wireless radio delivers powerful and highly reliable connectivity, and provides true scalability with support for 8 non-overlapping channels. Sub-millisecond delays enable daisy-chaining eight fold the typical number of radios, with no noticeable delay to real time video or PTZ control. User experience is set, on par with fiber, and excellent video streaming quality is absolute.

“Siklu solutions are small, interference-free and bandwidth-rich and they support the growth in video network capacity. Siklu brings performance, reliability, scalability and agility to the video surveillance market,” explained Itzik Ben-Bassat, CEO at Siklu. “Our robust connectivity solutions are integrated at the heart of surveillance networks, priming them for future growth. The 60GHz, 70/80GHz radios support network density and uncompromised video quality by utilizing the widest spectrum available today. This interference-free performance facilitates support for today’s and tomorrow's advanced camera systems.”
