Ants, flies, roaches and bed bugs are the top four most challenging pests for healthcare facilities to prevent and control, according to a Health Facilities Management survey.

These pests can pose health dangers to patients.

Environmental services managers are urged to create an integrated pest management plan that prevents pests from entering a facility, starting with a comprehensive inspection.
