Other hospitals across Florida have returned to normal operations


Some hospitals across Florida have returned to normal operations, but others are still without water or sewage service, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health's hospitals resumed normal operations by the Monday after the hurricane, and all of the system's facilities were scheduled to reopen on the Tuesday.

University of Miami Health System has reopened outpatient clinics for patients needing radiation or chemotherapy. 

Coral Gables-based Baptist Health South Florida is working to reopen its two hospitals in the Florida Keys. Those hospitals were among the first facilities in the state to close ahead of the hurricane.
