The emergency room remains open.

By HFT Staff

Strong winds caused construction equipment to collapse outside of Halifax Hospital in Daytona, Florida this weekend.

The hospital posted on social media saying the wind caused a banner to pull down the metal scaffolding on the west side of its France Tower. There were no reported injuries from the collapse.

The emergency room at the hospital is still open, but the west entrance is closed for the time being.
