A new survey by NEJM Catalyst reveals healthcare executives have a pessimistic view of the landscape with the Trump administration, according to an article on the Fierce Healthcare website.
The surveyed group expects patients will see less insurance coverage, fewer benefits and higher premiums, the article said.
The report includes predictions from members of its Insights Council, a group of executives, leaders and clinicians employed by healthcare organizations.
Nearly two-thirds of respondents also expect the current trend toward consolidation among providers to continue.
