T&S Brass and Bronze Works named the 2013 Supplier of Merit by Allied Buying Corporation

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – T&S Brass and Bronze Works, a U.S. based manufacturer of plumbing and foodservice equipment, has been named the 2013 Supplier of Merit in Allied Buying Corporation’s (ABC) Light Equipment & Furnishings category. Winners were announced at ABC’s recent fall conference in Chicago.

Allied Buying Corporation is comprised of a national network of independent foodservice equipment and supply dealers. Suppliers must pass a rigorous test before being accepted into the network and are evaluated by members each year through a survey measuring six performance standards: service level quality (on-time shipping, order fill rates, billing accuracy, etc.), competitive pricing, quality of sales meetings/sales training/marketing support, post sales service (warranties and returns), quality of staff and quality of customer service/order entry. The Supplier of the Year awards are based on empirical evidence as reported in and compiled from the annual Supplier Report Card Survey, with two winners in each category.

“ABC expects a lot from its suppliers, so this is a real honor,” said T&S Customer Service Manager Joan Taylor. “Of course, superior performance and superlative customer service are foremost among our ongoing goals, so it’s especially satisfying to be recognized as outstanding in those areas.”

T&S Brass and Bronze Works has been a leader in providing innovative equipment solutions to the foodservice and plumbing industries for more than 60 years—since 1947—when it developed the first pre-rinse unit. Today, with facilities in the U.S., Europe, Hong Kong and China, T&S leads the way in environmental initiatives, from an eco-friendly manufacturing process to ongoing development of water and energy-conserving products.  For more information, visit www.tsbrass.com.
