A Bryan, Texas, man suspected of arson was arrested at CHI St. Joseph Hospital after he tried to escape the hospital by climbing inside the ceiling, according to an article on The Eagle website.
According to Bryan police, the man was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation after his motel room caught on fire
While he was in the emergency room, the man had climbed into a ceiling shaft. Authorities said they could see the ceiling sink under the man's weight as he crawled around.
He eventually dropped into a space in the walls near the emergency room and kicked open the wall. When he saw police, he crawled back in the wall and kicked through another wall in a different area of the hospital.
