Texas system plans first microhospital

Christus Southeast Texas Health System buys land for new smaller facility

Christus Southeast Texas Health System planning the area’s first micro-hospital, according to an article on the Orange Leader website.

“New healthcare models are moving away from traditional large inpatient hospitals — options for smaller, inpatient units that offer the same advanced services placed in the center of communities who need it most.”
