Three more Legionnaires’ cases reported at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital

One person who contracted Legionnaires’ has died


Three more cases of Legionnaires’ disease have been confirmed at Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital, in Grove City, Ohio, raising the total to 10 cases, according to an article on the Columbus Dispatch website.

One person who contracted Legionnaires’ has died, according to Franklin County Public Health.

Mount Carmel Health Systems initially announced Friday that there were seven victims of the disease at the new $361 million hospital that opened April 28. 

It is believed that patients were exposed sometime between April 27 and May 24.
