Tool kit available for antimicrobial stewardship

Kit contains resources on planning, implementing and sustaining an antibiotic stewardship program for C. diff reduction

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality offers practical resources to help providers improve quality of care including The Toolkit for Reduction of Clostridium difficile Infections Through Antimicrobial Stewardship.

The kit is designed to help organizations look at resources for and possible obstacles to C. diff reduction. The tool kit contains information on planning, implementing and sustaining an antibiotic stewardship program. It is a companion to the Greater New York Hospital Association's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program toolkit.
