The main criteria used was to focus mainly on "personal" blogs that are run mainly by a single person, usually not for profit, and offer a specialist angle on the world of cyber and data security.
The recommendations for the 20 best cyber security blogs to check out in 2017, include:
• Schneier on Security — @schneierblog. Bruce Schneier is the author of 13 books on the subject and offers insight into malware, security policy and the general impact of technology on everyday life.
• The Security Ledger — @securityledger. With a reputation for breaking news, the Ledger focuses on the security of the Internet of Things, as well as hacking, malware, application and device security.
