Tyco Security Products introduces Kantech EntraPass Access Control System Onboard exacqVision network video recorders

Tyco Security Products introduces exacqVision network video recorders (NVR) with Kantech EntraPass Corporate Edition access control system pre-installed for faster, simpler security installation and service.

exacqVision NVRs provide high performance, all-in-one network video surveillance solutions. Available in hybrid and IP camera NVR models, exacqVision recorders deliver reliability and capacity for mainstream recording.

Designed for easy installation, Kantech EntraPass Corporate Edition comes pre-installed and pre-licensed on exacqVision A-Series and Z-Series Windows NVRs. Having the access control system loaded onto the video server saves users hardware, power and cooling costs while also reducing the amount of rack space required.

Users can control a handful of doors or millions from multiple locations worldwide. Each recorder will support up to 20 workstations and up to 50 concurrent instances of EntraPass Web or EntraPass Go mobile application.

Live and recorded video can be viewed and managed directly from the recorder using the included exacqVision client or remotely using a web browser or exacqVision client on a separate computer. The freely distributed client software can be installed on Windows, Linux or Mac systems. exacqVision CameraLinks puts the most needed access control commands at the operator’s fingertips in the live video view. Using CameraLinks, users can configure overlay controls that will display when hovering over a camera in live view for quicker response to critical alarms and events.

“Adding Kantech EntraPass access control system onto our exacqVision recorders enables our users to manage and configure both video and access control from a single interface for a more cost-effective, complete security solution,” said Scott Dennison, Director of Marketing, Exacq Technologies. “Combining access control on our recorder product also simplifies deployment for installers, saving both time and money.”

For a complete security solution, users have the ability to easily integrate DSC PowerSeries Neo intrusion devices. Combining live and recorded video with access control and intrusion detection events unifies security functions as an all-in-one solution, reducing duplicate efforts.

Each exacqVision recorder includes a three-year hardware warranty and three years of free software updates.
