Pennsylvania hospitals are among those watching closely as the Ebola virus makes a reappearance in Africa, according to an article on the Reading Eagle.

Last week, Penn State Health St. Joseph sent out an advisory to its staff emphasizing the importance of obtaining a travel history for all patients entering its inpatient or outpatient facilities, the article said.

Mari Driscoll, director of infection control and prevention for St. Joseph said caregivers will do a thorough travel history for all patients who come through its doors. They'll isolate patients who have traveled to one of the affected areas and are experiencing symptoms.
