UPMC unveils $19 million Hampton outpatient center

The 44,000-square-foot facility's focus will be primary healthcare for children and adults


The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has unveiled a $19 million outpatient center in Hampton, Pa., according to an article on the Healthcare Finance News website.

The 44,000-square-foot facility will focus on primary healthcare for children and adults.

There also will be an Austin's Playroom for children, created in conjunction with the Mario Lemieux Foundation.

The new medical complex will make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently," UPMC said in a statement.
