The Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn., uses design solutions for lighting, acoustics, and signage to better support its patients who are age 65 and up, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. While there wasn’t a lot of design-specific information available regarding seniors, a lot of research has been conducted on the effects of aging, the article said.
