Universal reveals three lamp LED retrofit kit to fill parabolic fixture upgrade needs

Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc., a global leader in lighting and a member of the Panasonic Group, fills parabolic fixture upgrade needs with the development of its three-lamp kit, an expansion of the EVERLINE® LED Retrofit Kit product line.

The three-lamp design offers a quick and direct upgrade solution for parabolic fixtures, an older generation of fixtures that are found commonly in office, hospital, and education facility applications. Parabolic fixtures were designed to force light downward to reduce glare on a work space, resulting in low fixture efficiency. The EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit counters this by offering Universal’s highest efficiency solution, providing more light using fewer watts.

“With the design of Universal’s three-lamp LED Retrofit Kit, users receive more lighting flexibility delivered by the third LED bar, offering a more aesthetically pleasing lighting experience because it provides even illumination and superior lumens per watt,” said Stephanie Boyle, EVERLINE Fixtures product manager for Universal Lighting Technologies.

Replacing traditional fluorescent with the EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit will decrease energy consumed by up to 45 Watts per Fixture. The expanded options of the EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit now offer one of the most adaptable replacement solutions available on the market today. With two-foot and four-foot light bars, the kit can be used in 2’ or 4’ parabolic or offset channel fixtures without the expense of replacing the entire fixture.

“We’re equipping our customers with a better lighting replacement experience,” said Boyle. “The difference becomes apparent as soon as the kit is installed. Our three-lamp kit offers remarkably high lumen output, long life with over 140,000 hour rated lamp life, and the kit installs right under the ceiling grid with minimum disruption to work space.”

The drivers used in the kit have 0-10V dimming options for smooth dimming control and additional energy savings. The three-lamp kit is available in 3,500 lumens to 7,300 lumens with an 82 CRI and CCTs of 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. The EVERLINE LED Retrofit Kit is DesignLights Consortium QPL listed.
