MD Now is diffusing a vanilla fragrance in the waiting areas of all of its facilities


MD Now, a chain of urgent care centers in South Florida, and Wellspring Health Services, an urgent care facility based in Virginia, are both implementing environmental scenting programs, according to an article on the PR Newswire website.

MD Now is diffusing a vanilla fragrance in the waiting areas of all of its facilities.

Wellspring Health Services is using a "sensual wood" fragrance in its waiting area.

"When I was deciding what kind of facility I wanted, I knew that I wanted it to be multi-sensory so that it would be a calming place for patients," said Dr. Khalid Athar, CEO of Wellspring.  In addition to the scent in the waiting area, Wellspring also displays visuals of nature with soothing music.
