A white paper on antimicrobial protection, "Antimicrobial Protection for Public Building Applications," can be downloaded for free from the Linetec website.

The paper describes the uses and advantages of antimicrobial coatings and discusses the related technology, testing and specifications.

Antimicrobial protection is infused into select polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) finishes to inhibit the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria on the coating of aluminum surfaces for healthcare facilities, educational campuses and other buildings.
