A regular maintenance schedule protects flooring investment

The most efficient way to maintain any finished floor is keeping a regular maintenance schedule and using products that require the least amount of work, according to an article on the Facility Cleaning & Maintenance website.

Data has shown facility appearance ratings can drop by as much as 75 percent if floor shine makes a bad first impression.

A floor matting program can help reduce the amount of soil, dirt and moisture that enters the building.

In addition, a daily maintenance routine, interim maintenance and restorative care can extends the life of the floor.
